Four Postgraduate Students Obtained President Scholarships for Studying Abroad

Four postgraduate students obtained president scholarships for studying abroad — next year they will go to China and European countries in order to carry out various researches.

Olga Karpova, a postgraduate student of the programme «Economics. Finance, Monetary Circulation and Credit», is going to study to the Central University of Finance and Economics.

«I decided to submit an application for the scholarship because the topic of my dissertation is connected with China. Likewise, my research supervisor and I came up with the idea of studying in China. We have an access to the data and a professor who is ready to collaborate with us, — Olga Karpova said. — The topic of the research is expansion of export potential of the value-added tax in Russia with the help of experience from our Chinese partners. Moreover, we are working on a project of the New Silk Road and synchronization of custom and tax tools as part of the research team».
