Regional studies association (RSA) is an organization that has been dealing with regional research for more than 50 years. The RSA focuses on issues of economic development and growth, as well as the concept of territorial governance. The international nature of RSA membership provides a high standard of theoretical understanding, empirical analysis and discussion of political issues at the international level.
RSA's strengths include the application of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, the use of comparative research, and the blurring of boundaries between scientific and practical knowledge.
This, as well as the active participation of students, young researchers and experienced RSA members, helps to create a dynamic environment in which you can open new horizons of knowledge, as well as develop methods for their effective practical application.
RSA magazines, collections and books along with conferences and events are a key factor for the international community in the formation and dissemination of achievements in the field of regional research and science. The authors of the publications are scientists from various fields - from economics, geography, political science, planning and sociology. Most of them work in academia, but many also apply their knowledge in politics and in practice.
