How business schools can be more efficient, discussed experts on accreditation

Representatives of the European Foundation for Management Development held an international seminar

Representatives of the European Foundation for Management Development: Director of EFMD Quality Services, David Asch and Associate Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Ivana Marinkovic told about the factors that significantly affect management of business schools. Experts conducted an international accreditation seminar at the new campus GSEM UrFU.

«Programmes help business schools get involved in the international agenda, — explains Ivana Marinkovic. — Also, students who want to get an MBA or go to a Master's programme are also guided by the availability of accreditation when searching for an educational institution. For students prestige is very important, and for employers it’s an MBA degree that counts»

During the meeting, the experts explained that it is impossible not to take into account when managing a business schools such factors as global competition, digitalisation, rapid changes in learning technologies, transformation of the labor market, request for new competencies. International accreditation programmes such as EPAS or EQUIS are helping to meet international standards, manage continuous quality improvement.

We note that the accreditation seminar is one of the events of the XII International Conference Russian Regions in the Focus of Changes, which was held in UrFU on November 16-18.
