The largest international audit company KPMG conducted a series of training on time management for international economists
Students of the 1st and 2nd year of the programme International Economics and Business received training from a corporate partner, the international audit company KPMG.
Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the structure of time management, to study its basic concepts, as well as to get useful information about the basic rules of successful time planning. In addition, the trainings included a practical part, where each participant could try on the role of the head of a large company. The organisers offered many business tasks aimed at improving the skills of time management.
The students heard real stories of successful people of our time, in whose life time management played an important role. Now the participants of the training are ready for a competent organisation of their time for the correct balance of studies and leisure.
This is how the participants commented on the training:
Koryukina Polina (group EM-173622): «...This master class was everything: technology, techniques, motivating quotes, life hacking — and everything was presented in a simple and accessible language. For me, it became obvious that learning to manage your time is possible and necessary not only for businesspersons and politicians, but also for ordinary people. People who want to be happy and find time for things that are important to them in the turmoil of life. What was the most important thing I learned from KPMG's master class on management? Perhaps, it can be formulated as follows: “Here is your life. Go and live it as you want it”. And start not tomorrow, not from Monday and not from New Year. Start now!»
Novoselova Valeria (group EM-173622): «This master class on time management was very useful for me personally. Because I know that I have problems with the correct timing (I never have time, I'm late for everything and can hardly get into deadlines), I spent a lot of time searching for time management recipes. On this course, I learned many new techniques, which I will certainly apply. It was very interesting, Natasha gave a lot of advice and life hacks which she uses herself, and this is priceless.»
Malkova Ekaterina (group EM-173622): «The master class on time management turned out to be very interesting and, what’s more important, a useful event. We were told how to plan our day, set goals and even how to keep a daily schedule. Particularly I liked the presentation of the material, which was very different from the usual lectures, and for this I thank the presenter of this master class. In general, I am very glad that I decided to participate in this interesting event. In my opinion, time management is the main component of the system of personal effectiveness for any ambitious person. It does not matter what purpose it is intended for: lose weight, get a diploma with honours, start your own business ... none of these cases is possible without the skills of self-organisation.»
