UrFU held regional research conference

Today at the Ural Federal University economists, researchers and representatives of the business community discussed the directions and prospects for interaction between universities and the business environment. In particular, at the open and thematic lectures, round tables, podium and panel discussions, and workshops, experts have covered such topics as the role of institutional factors in economic development, win-win-win strategy for business, academics and society, modern university graduate career.
‘The conference is an important event for us,’ Natalia Balynskaya, NMSTU Economics and Management Institute Director, says. ‘Thanks largely to Irina Turgel, Deputy Director for Science at UrFU GSEM, the conference became regional studies center: we communicate with colleagues from Ufa, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg, which opens up some prospects. Also, the conference is a great opportunity to interact with representatives of science and business. Only in cooperation can we develop.’
Lectures, round tables, discussions - events of the regional research day, which is a part of the XIII International Conference "Russian Regions in the Focus of Change." The conference is a regional development discussion platform featuring the executive branch, academic community representatives, managers of medium-sized businesses and large industrial enterprises in Russia, organized by Ural Federal University and the “Expert” analytical center.
