Interesting and informative about International accounting

The course for IEB students was started by Croatian professor Ana Marija Sikirić

"International economics and Business" programme has a tradition to invite professors from foreign academic partners with lectures and master classes. This semester was no exception and the first guest lectures were held in the first half of September. Students learnt the main aspects of international accounting on the lectures of the professor from the University of Rijeka (Croatia) Ana Maria Sikirić.

Ekaterina Voronkova, the 4th-year "International economics and business" student shared her impressions: 

“Ana Marija used the variety of methods to explain us the main characteristics and principles of international accounting from different sides. Despite of the difficulty of the subject, it was interesting and informative, we solved many tasks and spoke about intangible and tangible assets in context of cryptocurrency and football players which made it easier to understand. Ms Sikirić made the course bright and shared some Croatian accounting system features”.

Ana Marija Sikirić told about her experience in GSEM UrFU:

"Teaching and working with students at UrFU was a great experience. Students were a little bit shy at the beginning but slowly they were more open to discussions, to interact and ask questions. I was pleasantly surprised with their answers, arguments and questions. I hope that they enjoyed my lectures as much I had enjoyed teaching them".
