Graduates of the master's program “PR and Advertising: Harmonization of Intercultural Communications” returned to Mexico and India, and began to build a career in advertising
Noxander Ruiz (Mexico) and Simeon Liehtang (India) enrolled to the master program “PR and Advertising: Harmonization of Intercultural Communications” of Ural Federal University in 2017. During the education, students received a wider understanding in the field of media communications, actively participated in university life, and also got acquainted with Russian culture and visited other cities of Russia. After graduation, graduates returned back to their countries, where they received job offers from leading advertising agencies.
Noxander:
After the graduation I returned to Mexico and after some time I received an invitation to work abroad in Argentina as the art director of an advertising company. Of course I accepted this offer and I have been working in this position for a month now.
The knowledge that I received while studying at Ural Federal University helps me to cope with this position, because the main difference between this direction of the master program is that it is completely practice-oriented. Most of the skills we received during internships, that’s why it’s very valuable.
Simeon:
I returned to India in early July almost immediately after graduation, and after some time I found a job as a financial manager in advertising. At the same time, I was writing articles for magazines on political and social issues.
I do not regret my decision to enter the Ural Federal University, because during my studies at the university I met a lot of interesting people, visited many cities within the country, and also gained practical skills.
