Digitalisation as a Global Strategy Driver for Juventus

Students and faculty of the programme International Economics and Business participated in an online facilitation with foreign lecturers

The last week was marked by the implementation of various online teaching tools, more individualised approach to studies and switching to online services for project work.

Professor of the University of Turin (Italy) Gabriele Santoro taught online classes of Strategic Management for the GSEM UrFU students of International Economics and Business. The students calculated alternative balanced scorecards for the Italian football club Juventus based on annual reports data and forecasted future strategies under the current conditions of the Coronavirus pandemic. The classes gathered students who are currently in France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Turkey and Russia. Despite the fact that some of our international students had to go home due to the measures aimed at combating the COVID-19 spreading, all of them continue their studies online using UrFU e-learning services.

Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" designed for solving tasks of "Science" National Project.
