Participants representing 17 nationalities from Italy, Germany, France, China, Russia and other countries joined the traditional International Autumn School on Sustainable Development and Smart Future
November 23 - December 5, 2020 XII International Autumn School «Sustainable Business Development: Smart future for all» organized by Graduate School of Economics and Management is held online. The creative developer is the team of the International Economics and Business programme with support of the International Affairs Office.
At the grand virtual opening Dmitry Tolmachev, head of GSEM, Zhanna Belyaeva, head of IEB programme, Aishe Agekyan, meeting place manager of MEGA Ekaterinburg, greeted the School participants.
Zhanna Belyaeva, GSEM Academic Director, shed the light on the amazing programme:
«Students from international business schools will take part in interactive educational workshops from lecturers and corporate partners to develop professional competencies in the ideology of implementing sustainable development goals. The Autumn School offers the opportunity to gain useful new normal skills through multidisciplinary modules of an exciting programme».
«The school is focused on developing sustainable mindset, business and entrepreneurial skills, cross-cultural adaptability, and research knowledge», said Dmitry Tolmachev, the director of Graduate school of Economics and management welcomed international teams of students, professors and corporates.
Dmitry Benemansky, head of UrFU media-service, invited international students to participate in the Universiade 2023. Professor Dolores Bengoa, vice-president of HDWM Mannheim (Germany), noted the unique format of the school and an excellent opportunity for internationalization. On the opening day, students presented their cultures as well as the peculiarities of the development of a sustainable economy in the countries of residence.
School is not only about learning! A cultural programme, acquaintance with Yekaterinburg as a capital of the Urals and networking await the participants of the international project.
At the end of the School, students will generate ideas for business development within the framework of urgent tasks of the global economy, present projects to a jury of corporate partners and international scientists, and, of course, receive certificates with 5 ECTS.
