Students of GSEM UrFU learned about innovations, startups and technologies of the future
Vitaly Nedelsky and Alberto Ferraris held interactive lectures on the implementation of changes in a world of growing complexity and models of open innovation.
Vitaly Nedelsky, founder of the Russian Association of Robotics and Industrial Internet, former Minister of Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, now the founder and development director of Semantic Hub, specializing in unique solutions for global pharmaceutical companies using artificial intelligence and big data, held an interactive a lecture on the challenges of the modern world, transformation of companies and business models, robotization, platform ecosystems and service models. Vitaly shared the secrets of skills of the future, adaptation and success in the modern rapidly changing world.
Professor of the Department of Management at the University of Turin (Italy), researcher of GSEM UrFU Alberto Ferraris told the students about the unique opportunities that new technologies open, and also gave examples of different types of startups and demonstrated successful cases in various industries. School participants practiced pitching their ideas.
«It was a disaster», shared Alberto Ferraris recalling his first experience of pitching an idea.
Thanks to the discussions within the framework of the lectures, the School participants were able to consider in detail the issues of introducing innovations and digital solutions into business processes, as well as clarify all points of interest to optimize their ideas for the final project and, in general, build a future career. All participants noted the importance of the topic and the interesting and engaging presentation of the speakers.
