Researchers of GSEM UrFU took part in the International Conference “The Trans-European Dialogue” (TED2022)
On February 24-25, 2022, The Trans-European Dialogue (TED2022) international conference "Bureaucratic Transformations: Longitudinal Perspectives on Local and (Supra) National Public Administration" was held in Bergen (Norway). The conference was organized by the University of Bergen together with the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee). School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship GSEM UrFU has been a member of NISPAcee since the beginning of 2022.
The conference was devoted to the problems of state and municipal management in the conditions of economic, epidemiological and environmental crisis. It discussed issues of the organizational structure of the authorities, lobbying, trust in the authorities, effective management in conditions of instability. The main purpose of the event is to find solutions to current problems through an open dialogue between representatives of the authorities and the scientific community.
Natalia Blednova, an assistant of the Department of Sociology and Technologies of State and Municipal Administration of GSEM UrFU, took part in the conference and presented a report on the topic "Leave Policy System in Russia: Is It Time to Change?" (co-authored with the professor of the department,Vice Director for research and innovations of GSEM UrFU Anna Bagirova). Evgenia Kuznetsova, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory, Methodology and Law Support of State and Municipal Administration of GSEM UrFU, also took part in the conference with a study on "Handling emergency issues in Russia, India and South Africa: comparative research".
