Students of GSEM UrFU will predict the development of digital markets for the beauty industry
The day before, the 3rd annual case championship "World Games of Analysts" of International Economics and Business program and UrFU Case Club officially started. For participants there is a month of interesting master classes and interactive classes from the corporate partners of the championship - the federal consulting company "Technologies of Trust" and the most famous market participants of the beauty industry: the perfume and cosmetics network "Gold Apple" and the factory "Unilever-Rus".
The features of the case championship are a project-based approach to teaching the most popular tools to world-class economists. As a result, participants will get acquainted with various aspects of the use of end-to-end technologies for the development of the industry, taking into account international experience in the conditions of geo-economic shocks.
More than 100 people take part in the competition, including schoolchildren of grades 10-11 in Ekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk and Kurgan regions, as well as 1st-year students of International Economics and Business program, including international students from Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, China, Colombia and Ecuador.
All participants will receive invaluable experience in solving cases, networking, certificates. Winners and prize-winners will be awarded with diplomas and gifts from the program, as well as receive an invitation to an internship from corporate partners, and the best students will receive +3 points for the Unified State Exam.
Last year in the final of the case championship, 23 strategies were presented before the expert jury from PwC in Russia, Zhiznmart, Sobolev Cheese, the elements of which were implemented in real practice.
