The course " Business Debt Settlement" has started
On April 24, the course "Business Debt Settlement " was launched by Sberbank PJSC for students of the bachelor’s programme "International Economics and Business".
The company is the largest systemic lender with significant competencies in the field of settlement of problem debts. Professional "problem-solvers" of the Bank will cover the practical aspects of working in this difficult and interesting area, telling about the features of debt collection from the Bank's point of view and sharing their experience in supporting real cases.
Over the course of a month, bank employees will share their practical experience in working with corporate debts in order to create a culture of conflict resolution and improve the level of competence of participants in the process of resolving problem debts. Future economists will learn about the features of the lending process, gain skills in applying tools and developing effective strategies for resolving problem debts, risk management procedures, and negotiation techniques. The first lesson of the course aroused great interest among the audience, students received answers from business experts to all their questions.
Among the speakers: Sergey Shalnev, Deputy Chairman of the Ural Bank, Konstantin Batin, Director of the Department for Dealing with Distressed Assets of the Ural Bank of Sberbank PJSC, Evgenia Malkevich, Head of the Department for Supporting Bankruptcy Procedures and Enforcement Proceedings and Denis Kotin, Chief Specialist of the Department on support of bankruptcy procedures and enforcement proceedings.
Summing up the results of the course will take place in the Sberbank Technohab, where students will be given an excursion, certificates and gifts.
