Class of 2023 gave the world super professionals
Graduates of the program "International Economics and Business" of Graduate School of Economics and Management UrFU got diplomas and EFMD-certificates (European Foundation for Management Development), some students confirmed double diploma with the KEDGE Business School (France) and University of Pforzheim (Germany).
Most of yesterday's students already work in their specialty or have offers from large companies, and some guys are accepted to master's programs in Russia and abroad based on the results of victories in case championships, olympiads and competitions. A truly international composition of students demonstrated a high analytical level of final qualification works on the most relevant topics: digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in the economy, the readiness of countries and markets for ESG transformation, the impact of economic instability on the economies of countries and regions of the world, factors of development and stagnation in classical and creative industries, new digital currency markets and relationships, trends and key drivers of migration in the new order of the global economy.
As part of the traditional graduation program, international economists received many wishes from the management of UrFU and GSEM, program faculty and corporate partners. Dmitry Tolmachev, GSEM director, noted the resilience and high performance of students, which they showed in the conditions of training in an unstable environment, wished the graduates to successfully continue their path to knowledge, Zhanna Belyaeva, head of the educational program " International Economics and Business", invited students to join IEB Alumni Club, which already includes economists and managers from 48+ countries.
Program instructors: Ekaterina Demchenko, Elena Frolova, Kazi Sohag, Lyudmila Ruzhanskaya, Andrey Pushkarev, Tamara Kuprina, Farida Gubaidullina, Dmitry Gladyrev, Alexander Ishukov and Yana Lopatkova gave valuable life hacks for further professional and personal development, and the shark Sharkey, the symbol of the program, predicted to graduates next business steps. And the most lucky ones received branded hoodies from the program!
Representatives of SIMA-LAND: Oleg Kozhurov, Program Alumnus, Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Affairs, and Elizaveta Kopylova, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department, congratulated graduates, presented memorable souvenirs and invited the graduates to join the team of the company's department. Maria Klenovskaya, General Director of mini-format «Lifemart», and Alexei Molchanov, entrepreneur, partner of the mini-format «Lifemart», also shared cool parting words, shared presents for teachers for their contribution to the development of the program and a new generation of business analysts with modern competencies. Olga Kashirskaya, Head of Recruitment at B1 in Yekaterinburg, highlighted the key steps to success. Excellent memorable gifts were received by graduates from the company "Technologies of Trust" represented by Maxim Matsiborko, Managing Partner of the office of "Technologies of Trust" in Yekaterinburg, and Elena Kabanova, manager of the Department of Corporate Services of "Technologies of Trust".
Graduates remembered the brightest business, team building events for 4 years, and the leaders of the UrFU case club handed over the key to the next generation of students, moving into the status of alamni!
