In total, 16 UrFU employees were included in the list of the most cited scientists in the world
3 GSEM employees are included in the general scientific database of the 2% of the most cited scientists in the world based on the results of 2022. The database is compiled annually by Stanford University. On October 5, the sixth yearbook was published on the portal of Elsevier. From GSEM UrFU the list included: Kazi Sohag, Adven Masih, Denis Osinkin.
"The ranking is carefully compiled using a comprehensive set of indicators, including citations, the Hirsch index, the co-authorship-adjusted hm index, citations of articles with different author roles, and a composite indicator known as the c-score. Both self-citations and the ratio of citations to articles citations are taken into account in the assessment," explain the authors of the ranking.
The ranking covers 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields, according to the Science-Metrix classification standards. The data covers a scientist's entire career, until the end of 2022.
