On April 16-18, the X Eurasian Economic Youth Forum on the topic “Russia — Asia — Africa — Latin America: Economics of Mutual Confidence” was held at the Ural State Economic University. Within the context of the forum, there were 5 congresses devoted to topical issues of international cooperation and building effective economic and diplomatic relations between countries.
Anna Bondyreva, a student of the GSEM “International Economics and Business” programme, took part in the contest “Social and Cultural Relations as a Basis of Trust Relations in the Economy”. She presented a research paper based on socio-cultural characteristics of the business climate between Russia and Turkey, its influence on the implementation of business communications between these countries and got the first place.
Anna shares her impressions:
“176 works were presented from participants from 19 Russian and foreign universities at the economists congress. I felt a great responsibility to represent my university and was very pleased that the experts emphasized my deep economic knowledge during the presentation. It was also interesting to take part in discussions. I noted different points of view with representatives of other universities (including foreign ones) on the issues related to our curriculum. Also, I would like to highlight internationalism and high professionalism of the jury members: experts from Russia, Kazakhstan and Germany.”
