The students of the program “International Economics and Business” took part in the unique concept of team building: a mix of economic games and sports activities
Sports and economic team building started with an economic quest, during which students successfully demonstrated their knowledge: answered non-standard questions and demonstrated ability to show business processes. The end point of the quest was the sport area, where students had lots of interesting things to do.
Zhanna Belyaeva, the “International Economics and Business” programme director, noted that such events are necessary for practicing project management skills, and networking for students of different countries.
PR-manager of “Decathlon-Ekaterinburg” Artem Krotov welcomed the participants, and noted:
“Sport really plays a big role in our life: it not only allows us to be healthy, but also unites us. It is a great pleasure when you have the opportunity to participate in the organization of such a great sporting event, in which students from different countries are having fun all together! Thank you guys and representatives of the IEB educational programme for your active participation! And Decathlon, in turn, will continue to support the sport and make it accessible!”
The event was continued by sports quiz, dance flash mob and 10 different active zones: stretching, floorball, table tennis, fencing, archery, fitness, dance zone, badminton, tetraball, karate. In each zone, students acquired sports competencies and were charged with energy and positive.
The students of the programme “International Economics and Business” shared their impressions.
