Students of the International Economics and Business programme learned how HR works from the ChelPipe Group
The 1st year IEB students attended a master class from the ChelPipe group on the topic "HR: how it works", which was conducted by Natalya Sokolova, head of the department for work with universities. Natalia told about the organisational structure and functions of each HR direction in ChelPipe group for staff and company development. Students in the format of online facilitation saw how versatile functions lie in the area of responsibility of the HR service: recruitment, adaptation and assessment of personnel, analytics, motivation, training and development, company brand, corporate culture.
«We were told about the basics of HR and comprehensively analysed what tasks the HR department should solve. Speaker from the ChelPipe group also told us a lot of interesting things about the activities of the company itself and even shared secrets about how it works from the inside. We were given a practical task on drawing up a business project, which is very interesting and has great practical importance» - Elena Marunyak provided the feedback.
«It was interesting to get information about how the HR, personnel development systems and the organisational structure of a large company operating in the real sector of the economy are arranged. In general, everything was informative! We were also told a little about the production process of metallurgical products» - added Matvey Vasheka.
