During the two months of my life in Germany, I got used to and even fell in love with discipline and ubiquitous rules.
Our lectures are held in English, but in addition to the subjects I took German to understand the professors’ comments and make everyday life easier. The schedule is created individually (the subjects of your choice are distributed by semesters)
At first glance, there is less control and more freedom from professors during lectures, but we still have to find out what will come of it and how it will be at the exam session.
In December we plan to go skiing with my classmates to Austria (200 km), and next weekend - to travel to France (40 km – definitely we need to take advantage of this opportunity and pleasant ticket pricing).
It's not the first time I've been abroad, before that I had a job in USA and traveling in Asia. Europe has a lot of its own peculiarities, I open it with great pleasure.
Here, for example, is a feature of the educational process at the university - at the end of a classmate's speech or a lecture in general, instead of applause, everyone knocks with a fist on the table.
Does anyone have any idea what this is related to ?
